Sani is an administrator par excellence with well over three decades experience in the public sector. He was a very senior officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service where he served rising through the ranks to the management cadre. He garnered his remarkable wealth of experience serving the nation across many states of the federation including Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Lagos, Jigawa, Kaduna and Kano to name a few.
His debut in the political scene was in 2016 when he emerged as the National President of National Open University Alumni Association, NOUNAA.
While with the Nigeria Immigration Service, Sani distinguished himself as an excellent administrator and intelligence/special operations director especially while serving as the State Comptroller of Kaduna and Kano States respectively. He was the State Comptroller in charge of Kano State C a position he occupied till his appointment as Chief of Staff to the elected Governor of Kaduna State, Mal. Sani Uba in May, 2023.
Sani’s restructuring policies and strategy at curtailing illegal migration is much spoken of till date.
These and more justifies why the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria conferred him with the national award of MFR in 2022.
The Chief of Staff is a recognized Fellow, Institute of Industrialists and Corporate Administrator.
Sani Liman has a characteristic demeanour that endears people to him. This explains why he is so loved and respected across religious, racial and political divides. He is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
