MANDATE
- Policy formulation and coordination of health matters in the state.
- Establish and ensure implementation of healthcare and healthcare delivery policy and laws for the state.
- Provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services and infrastructure in the state.
- Coordinate and ensure delivery of all Development programmes and activities in the state related to healthcare.
- Ensure provision of affordable basic healthcare for all citizens of the state.
