2. Construction and maintenance of public buildings
3. Address the Housing needs of the state.
4. Provide and enforce development control approvals of layouts, buildings and other urban planning and urban renewal projects
5. Promote and protect green areas.
6. Ensure the provision and maintenance of parks and recreational facilities in urban and rural areas.
