The State Cash Transfer Unit has two programmes running concurrently under the Office. These programmes are:
The Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (CCTP)
The National Cash Transfer Programme also known as Household Uplifting Programme (HUP) is a component of the National Social Safety Nets Project (NASSP), which is supported by the World Bank, to provide financial support to targeted poor and vulnerable Nigerian households.
Beneficiaries of the programme are mined from the State Social Register (SSR) of poor and vulnerable households. The programme is designed to deliver timely and accessible cash transfers of five thousand naira monthly (₦5,000) i.e N10,000 bi-monthly to benefitting households.
Kaduna State currently has 70,051 beneficiaries of this programme from all 23 LGAs of the state.
Under the Cash Transfer programme is the Livelihood Support component, where facilitators conduct mentoring sessions with the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) beneficiaries for Livelihood support. At the core of the training is coaching and mentoring of the beneficiaries by Cash Transfer Facilitators (CTFs) on;
The beneficiaries have formed 956 groups with 721 of these groups fully registered as cooperative groups.

Kaduna Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (KD-CARES)
KD-CARES Programme was designed to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the livelihoods of poor individuals, farmers, vulnerable households, communities, and owners of micro and small enterprises.
SCTU is saddled with the responsibility of implementing the Social Transfer (ST) component of the Result Area 1 (DLI 1.1). The objective of the ST program is to enhance consumption support to vulnerable groups: aged, persons with disabilities, chronically ill, and urban poor households. Beneficiaries of the social transfer programme are drawn from the State Social Register (SSR) & are entitled to NGN 5,000 monthly, paid bi-monthly, using mobile money agents.
KD-Cares currently has 2,920 beneficiaries receiving a bi-monthly stipends of N10,000.
